Thomas Moore, LCSW and Board Certified Diplomate, has been the Administrative Director, Business & Clinical Operations of One Source Employee Assistance Program Services, a behavioral health outpatient service of RWJBarnabas Health healthcare system for 20 years. In that role, he has provided onsite management consultations to a broad range of departments for over 50 companies to analyze workplace problems and offer solutions. Most recently, he has provided training and programmatic services to medical and pharmacy residency programs to help them comply with ASHP and ACGME Common Program Requirements to support the well-being of their residents.
Tom approaches employment problems utilizing therapy, wellness, consultation and educational strategies to help create a friendly, healthy and productive workplace. He has implemented programs individually and as a part of a team and designed programs as diverse as Professional Coaching for leaders, Stress Management to departments and Professional Development to individuals and departments. He has provided clinical oversight on over 1000 management and Employee Health referrals, helping companies intervene with employees struggling with trauma, depression, anxiety, stress, interpersonal difficulties and alcohol or drug impairment. He has provided over 200 workplace critical incident debriefings to employees who have been impacted by traumatic events, including: 9/11, medical traumas, suicides, unexpected patient and co-worker deaths and child abuse. Finally, Tom is a frequent presenter of health-related and professional development trainings, and speaks in front of audience on average 35 times a year.
Frederick Foley, Ph.D.: Fred received his Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Fordham University. He has been affiliated with One Source Employee Assistance Program Services since 1990, a behavioral health outpatient service of RWJ Barnabas Health healthcare system. In that role, he has developed dozens of seminars, workshops, and consultations that address topics including: stress management, leadership skills, workplace communications, team building, conflict resolution, transition to management, time management, sexual harassment in the workplace, enhancing cultural sensitivity and workplace inclusion, and many others designed to meet specific workplace needs. He has provided critical incident debriefings to employees who have been impacted by traumatic events. He provides consultation to management on resolving workplace conflict, as well as education and coaching to valued employees to further develop their management and communication skills. Dr. Foley is a highly sought after speaker, and has been invited to speak in numerous countries around the world. He has over 100 scientific publications and book chapters to his credit, and his publications and research have received awards from the Academy of Psychosomatic Medicine and the Consortium of Multiple Sclerosis Centers.
Robert Lawrence Friedman, MA: Robert is an internationally recognized speaker, trainer and published author who has provided his workshops, training programs and keynote presentations to universities, corporations and health care organizations for the past thirty-two years. He has worked as a senior trainer for the RWJ Barnabas Health Care System EAP for the past fifteen years providing customized stress management and professional development trainings, and onsite departmental consultations. In addition to his work with the EAP, Robert was featured on a four-part, year-long Discovery Health Channel documentary, Class of '75 in which he mentored five highly stressed individuals, including famed golfer, Fred Funk. Other appearances have included The Today Show, NBC News, NY One News, Fox News, CNBC and numerous television appearances in Southeast Asia. Robert has published three books and over 75 articles. He has been interviewed for articles in The Wall Street Journal, The Washington Times, U.S. News and World Report and a three-page feature article in New York's Newsday newspaper. Mr. Friedman has provided his programs to such corporations as American Express, Chase Manhattan Bank, Comedy Central, HBO, Standard and Poors Global, among many others. In addition, he was awarded the Hearst Scholar Award in 2014 by the University of Northern Iowa for his innovative work in training and development. In addition to offering programming throughout the United States, Robert has offered his programs internationally throughout Austria, Canada, England, Germany, Ireland, Malaysia, Spain, Switzerland, and Singapore. He is an active member of the National Speakers Association.
