At RWJBarnabas Health One Source Employee Assistance Program (EAP), we strive to make our provider network the best in the industry. We work with only qualified professionals in behavioral health who can assist you with your issues. One Source EAP will match you with a licensed clinician based on your location and the topic you want to address. You can be assured that all providers will keep your information confidential.

Confidentiality

RWJBarnabas Health One Source Employee Assistance Program adheres to strict confidentiality policies. Your issues are your private issues, and remain so when you contact the EAP. One Source EAP Confidentiality Statement.

The One Source EAP Confidentiality Statement EAP services are confidential.

  • All contact with the EAP and the EAP provider network are private.
  • Names and the information shared with the EAP are not released to Human Resource Departments, Supervisors, Directors, nor any other individuals, businesses, or organizations.
  • Release of information can only be done with the individual's specific written consent. It is an individual's choice to have details of EAP sessions released.
  • We adhere to all federal and state laws.
  • RWJBarnabas Health One Source Employee Assistance Program has been providing confidential EAP services since 1983.

One Source EAP believes a face to face experience provides the best possible outcomes. As such, we require your first counseling session to occur in person, whenever possible. As a result, our providers are nationwide to respond to your needs at home, while traveling and for your children, under the age of 26, who may be studying far from home.

Finding a Provider

Finding a provider is as easy as a phone call. To find a provider or counselor, that you can meet with privately, just call RWJBarnabas Health One Source Employee Assistance Program, at 1-800-300-0628. Our call center is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. The clinician who answers the phone will walk you through a few easy steps to find the right provider for you.

You will be asked WHAT topic you wish to discuss with the provider so we can match you with someone with expertise in your area of concern.

You will be asked WHERE you would like to see the provider. You name the town, and we will do our best to match you with someone in that area. Our goal is to find you a provider within 20 minutes or 20 miles of home or work.

Provider Requirements

RWJBarnabas Health One Source Employee Assistance Program maintains National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) Standards for our national network of EAP providers. Providers are credentialed based on:

  • professional requirements
  • expertise
  • geographic location

Providers must adhere to strict requirement to be a part of our nationwide network. Click the titles below for full details:

  • Social Worker, Licensed Professional Counselor, Marriage & Family Counselor

    • Master’s degree in social work, accredited by the Council on Social Work
    • Valid, current, unencumbered, highest level of licensure for the independent practice of social work as determined by State Board granting licensure/certification of states(s) where the applicant is providing care. (In the state of New York, an "R-licensure" is required.)
    • A minimum of three (3) years of post-licensure, full-time clinical experience in behavioral health care.
    • Professional liability insurance coverage (minimum coverage of $1 million / $3 million)
    • Written verification that there are no adverse actions in front of state regulatory agencies
    • Prefer Certified Employee Assistance Professional, CEAP
  • Psychologists Counselor

    • Doctoral degree in psychology (PhD, EdD, PsyD) that is accredited by the American Psychological Association (APA), or is approved by the Council for the National Register of Health Providers in Psychology
    • Valid, current, unencumbered, highest level of licensure for the independent practice of social work as determined by State Board granting licensure/certification of states(s) where the applicant is providing care.
    • Three (3) years of post-licensure, full-time clinical experience in behavioral health care.
    • Professional liability insurance coverage (minimum coverage of 1 million / 3 million)
    • Written verification that there are no adverse actions in front of state regulatory agencies
